Letter from the Head of School

The Power of Your Support

Dear praents,

John Huber ProfileThis past week, many of our faculty members took part in enriching professional development opportunities. A number attended the National Association for Gifted Children conference, where they gained access to the latest research on teaching gifted and talented students. Others traveled to Columbus to participate in the Independent School Association of the Central States conference so that they might learn more about programmatic innovations and topics of inclusivity. All of these professional development activities ultimately benefit our many students.

The only reason we can send our teachers to conferences such as these is because our parents generously support our Annual Fund. Our Annual Fund helps to cover professional development, curriculum enrichment, extracurricular opportunities—you name it. And this past year, we reached the highest level of parent participation in our Annual Fund ever. We’re looking to beat last year’s ambitious goal, but we can only do so with your help.

Please be on the lookout for Annual Fund letters, and please make Emerson your philanthropic priority. Your contribution, great or small, unlocks our true potential. Join us!

Be well,

John Huber

P.S. – For a little bit of fun, our Middle School students will be coming up with a joyful challenge for Middle School parents. Stay tuned to learn more!
