Letter from the Head of School

One Small Request for Student Well-Being

Dear parents,

John Huber ProfileFor this week’s newsletter, I have but one request.

Please slow down and drive safely.

I know that many of you reading this newsletter do drive carefully, as witnessed each morning and afternoon of curbside. But recent local news of the tragedy that can befall pedestrians, coupled with my own observations of a few impatient drivers in our parking lot, lead me to make the request to the entire community directly.

I know that there are lessons to attend, appointments to make, meetings to catch. But this should not encourage you to skip ahead in carline, swerve around drivers trying to pull out of parking spots, get distracted by your cellphone, or accelerate upon making the final turn of the parking lot.

Everyone should take a few minutes now, right now, to watch our curbside video. It’s short, adorable, and clear. And once you’ve done so, please slow down and drive safely.

I ask this for the safety and well-being of our students.

Be well,

John Huber
