Child Care Available for Parent-Teacher Conferences (March 17 – 20)

The After School Program will once again provide child care during conferences and full day child care on the days with no school (Thursday, March 19th and Friday, March 20th).

Tuesday, March 17th and Wednesday, March 18th

  • Regular child care is available from 2:45 – 6:00pm at the normal rates.
  • All students in the building must sign into the after school program in the library while parents attend conferences.
  • No child care 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Child care ends promptly at 6:00pm on Wednesday, even though Middle School conferences run until 8:00pm. Normal late fees of $4/minute per child apply.

 

Thursday, March 19

Students will have the option of time outside, games and crafts in the library, and supervised free time in the computer lab throughout the day. Also, Summer at Emerson instructor Simon Burchill will be hosting creative activities for all ages. There will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy.

  • Full day child care is available from 8:00am – 3:00pm at $55/day.
  • After care is available from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at $6/hour.
  • Hourly child care during conferences is available at $10/hour.
  • If your child will be with us during lunch, from 12:00 – 12:30pm, please send them with a lunch and drink. Snacks will be provided.
  • Reservations required.

 

Friday, March 20 (Full Day Only)

At 9:00am we will travel by bus to the Henry Ford Museum where we will explore American history and imagination. Lunch is provided cafeteria-style with many different food options; students can choose their lunch (with adult supervision and assistance).

  • Full day child care is available from 8:00am – 4:00pm at $65/day.
  • Arrive at Emerson by 8:45 to board the bus
  • After care is available from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at $6/hour.
  • Reservations required.
