Why do you serve on the Board of Trustees?
I wanted to give back to a community that has given so much to my children and my family.

What wows you about Emerson School?
The small class sizes and individualized attention create a community where kids are celebrated for who they are, not what they achieve.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Teleportation. I love to travel and learn about new people and places. I’m also chronically late. The ability to go wherever I want, whenever I want, and do so instantly would be amazing.

A lawyer — And now I am!

What would surprise people about you?
I have traveled to over 30 countries.

What do you do when you’re not working or at a BOT meeting?
Spending time with friends, cooking while listening to audible, hosting dinner parties, working out, and traveling.

Who/what inspires you?
My kids—They make me want to be a better person.

Favorite ice cream flavor
Butter Pecan, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate Chip. . .There are so many good ones. It’s impossible to choose one!

Anything else you would like Emerson families to know about you?
I’m a first generation college graduate and am deeply inspired by the power of education and what it can do to change lives.
