Everything you love about Emerson School thrives because of the generosity of our community. Parents, grandparents, alumni, trustees, faculty, staff, and friends—you make Emerson extraordinary.
Your support is essential. While tuition helps, it doesn’t cover the full scope of our commitment to nurturing bright students. Your gifts have a lasting impact on the Annual Fund, enriching academics, faculty excellence, and student experiences, as well as supporting Financial Aid, ensuring access to an Emerson education for families who need financial assistance.
Join us in this vital mission! Your generosity provides the resources and opportunities to create an environment that fosters communication and lifelong learning. A place where our students grow into empathetic, creative, and confident leaders. Together, we can build a community where every child flourishes.
Emerson School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowable by law.

A donor may transfer all or a portion of their individual retirement account or IRA upon their death to Gilman as a qualified beneficiary.
The original SECURE Act passed by the United States Congress in 2019 increased the minimum required distribution age from 70.5 to 72. However, the minimum age for making a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your IRA — a “charitable IRA Rollover” — is 70.5, and the annual limit is $100,000. Individuals aged 70.5 or older may therefore consider making a “tax-free” gift, up to $100,000 a year, to a charity and satisfy their required minimum distribution.
