Emerson School is seeking a full-time second-grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek an experienced, talented, team-oriented candidate to design and deliver an enriched, developmentally appropriate second-grade program. They will be responsible for sharing the planning of the curriculum and collaborating closely with two other teachers at the same grade level. This position reports directly to the Lower School Director.
Substitute teachers are valued members of Emerson’s learning community and play a key role in supporting our mission to provide a whole-child, multiple-method approach to teaching and learning. They help ensure that students experience continuity, care, and creativity in the classroom. Our substitutes are compensated $150 for a full day, and $75 for a 1/2 day.
