What year did you start at Emerson?
2001
What wows you about Emerson?
How much the faculty and staff care about students’ wellbeing.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
To transport myself instantly with the snap of a finger. Because I would be able to get so much more accomplished in a day. But, this might also be because I watched reruns of “Bewitched” when I was a child.
What would surprise people about you?
I spent my childhood running around the desert, picking up creatures, climbing trees, playing and squabbling with my numerous siblings and going barefoot as much as possible.
What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
Coach cross country, run with my dog, cycle, CrossFit, garden, cook, bake, quilt and read.
Who/what inspires you?
Nature. Anyone who persists in the face of adversity.
Favorite quote, or anything else you would like Emerson families to know about you?
“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind.”
