Emerson School is seeking a full-time second-grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We seek an experienced, talented, team-oriented candidate to design and deliver an enriched, developmentally appropriate second-grade program. They will be responsible for sharing the planning of the curriculum and collaborating closely with two other teachers at the same grade level. This position reports directly to the Lower School Director.
Substitute teachers are valued members of Emerson’s learning community and help implement our mission to provide a whole-child, multiple-method approach to instruction for gifted and for academically talented students. Our substitutes are compensated $150 for a full day, and $75 for a 1/2 day.
