The dedication of the teaching faculty and how well they get to know the students. It is delightful to see faculty and students discussing a shared passion or faculty learning something new from the students.
What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
Read, bake, work in my perennial gardens, and ride bikes
Who/what inspires you?
The students who join our robotics team with no prior knowledge and jump in to learn how to design, build, program, and run a robot. It is so inspiring to see the students tell people about what they are working on, how they have reached out into the community to teach others about robotics, and how proud of their team they are for all the hard work they have put in.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
What favorite? I like them all!

If at first you don’t succeed, try again until you do!
