How many children do you have?
Two
When did you first join the Emerson community?
1997
Job and Title
General Manager of ClicTell Corp.
Education
MBA, Marshall University; BA in Child Development at Michigan State
Why do you serve on the Board of Trustees?
Emerson is home base for my family. I serve because I care about what this school stands for and I want to give back to a community that’s given us so much. Being part of shaping where it goes next means a lot to me.
What wows you about Emerson School?
The way each child is seen and cared for as a whole person. Academics matter here, but they’re never the whole story. Kids aren’t a grade or a test score to their teachers, they’re fully known, and that changes everything about how they show up and grow.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Teleportation, plus the ability to bring people with me. I’d love to get back all the hours we spend driving around town!
What did/do you want to be when you grew up?
A singer!
What would surprise people about you?
Probably not a lot. Haha.
What do you do when you’re not working or at a BOT meeting?
I love to play games with my family, spend time with friends, and eat good food!
Who/what inspires you?
Everyday people, honestly. The teacher who stays late, the friend who always shows up, the parent juggling it all and still being kind. Not the famous or flashy ones, just the quiet, steady good that usually goes unnoticed.
