Why do you serve on the Board of Trustees?
I serve on the Board of Trustees to support Emerson’s mission of fostering transformative, intellectually curious environments for our children, while leveraging my legal background to help navigate strategic governance and ensure the school’s long-term strength.

What wows you about Emerson School?
What wows me about Emerson is its incredible community, which is warm, welcoming, and dedicated network of educators, families, and staff who are deeply committed to inspiring and empowering every student.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
If I could have one superpower, it would be teleportation and the ability to bring others along. This would allow me to be in multiple places at once, never worry about running late, and explore the marvels of the world with my family.

What did/do you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut!

What would surprise people about you?
People might not guess it, but I used to be a DJ. I’m still a huge music lover at heart and love bringing high energy to any room.

What do you do when you’re not working or at a BOT meeting?
I love waking up early to workout at Blue Lion Fitness and learn/play tennis. I also enjoy reading about current events (or as my kids say watching/reading about the news).

Who/what inspires you?
I am inspired by my parents, who sacrificed so much to come to America so we could make the most of our opportunities, and by my wife, whose incredible intellect continuously pushes me to grow and work hard.

Favorite ice cream flavor
Dairy Free flavors – butter pecan and pistachio

Anything else you would like Emerson families to know about you?
I live by two sayings: 1) Be curious, not judgmental. (Ted Lasso); 2) Early bird catches the word. (Veeral Desai – a mentor).
