Emerson School uses School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) to assist with financial aid awards. Financial Aid is a need-based program offered to students with signed contracts. Receiving an award in a given year does not guarantee an award for any subsequent years. Similarly, denial of an award in any year does not preclude an award in another year. Awards are allocated when the Financial Aid Committee meets in late February or early March to determine Financial Aid Awards for the upcoming academic year.
Parents who wish to be considered for Financial Aid should follow the steps below.
- Complete and file a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) with School and Student Services (SSS).
- Complete and file your Federal Form 1040 for 2013. Upload your return, including W2s and all supporting schedules, to SSS.
- Turn in your signed enrollment contract.
- Submit a letter and any supporting documentation if you feel that your current circumstances are not accurately reflected on the PFS (i.e., self or spouse recently unemployed, extended illness, etc.).
ADMISSION DECISIONS ARE MADE WITHOUT REGARD TO FINANCIAL AID CONSIDERATIONS. Emerson School admits qualified students without regard to race, sex, religion, national or ethnic origin, or physical handicap.
