Enclosing walls, new lighting, new bookshelves, new paint and carpeting, (and new bathrooms!) will transform our library (the oldest part of our facility) into a more comfortable space conducive to teaching, quiet reading and study.
New LCD screens, projectors, and audio equipment will provide more opportunities to include multimedia displays in library instruction and will offer a wonderfully improved venue for student and faculty presentations and community gatherings.

Meet the Challenge Now!

A very generous, anonymous donor has stepped forward to challenge the entire Emerson community to raise $80,000 by February 28th. If we meet this challenge, our anonymous donor will give an additional $80,000 to complete our Capital Campaign funding.
Now it is our turn to continue Emerson's tradition of generosity. We are poised to complete the funding for the final phase of the Campaign... the renovation of the Library Media Center.
Can you make a difference? Absolutely.

A complete update of the technology infrastructure will provide students and faculty the bandwidth and internet access they need to fully integrate the latest technology with our curriculum.
Video conferencing studios, a podcasting studio, new multimedia workstations, document cameras, digital video cameras, and new color laser printers will enable students to explore their curiosities and expand their learning both inside and far beyond our classrooms.
