LIBRARY DEDICATION
Newly Remodeled Space Opens With a Celebration

October 2, 2009

Ann Arbor - A vibrant heritage and a bright future were celebrated this evening at the grand opening and dedication ceremony of Emerson's new Library Media Center. Patricia C. Adams, past head of school, for whom the LMC is named, was honored by Faith Cuenin, Co-chair of the Capital Fundraising Campaign, and Jerry Loewen, Emerson Head of School. More than 200 attended the dinner event.

The newly remodeled library is a technology treasure, with new computers, video projector, and other state-of-the-art equipment. It also features new book shelving and a flexible layout to accommodate performances.

The LMC is a new space for exploration and expression, and the Emerson community is delighted by its possibilities and promise.
