Ann Arbor - The Emerson music room was alive today with squeaks and squawks, giggles and grins. Strings, woodwind and brass notes resounded, punctuated by percussion. The Emerson Instrument Petting Zoo was in full swing!

Visitors to the Instrument Petting Zoo, Emerson 2-5 graders, explored each instrument. They are eager newcomers to Beginning Band or Beginning Strings, seeking just the right instrument for their music-making.

Leslie Capozzoli and Michelle Borton, Emerson music teachers, offered high notes of expertise and enthusiasm.
