Emerson Artists' Talent On Display
Michigan art educators host regional shows

In an annual, all-state show of talent, the Michigan Art Education Association hosts Regional Art Shows across the state. The shows feature selected works of artists from independent and public schools - an impressive and wide-ranging display of talent.

This year, as in years past, Emerson artists were well represented in our regional MAEA show. Several received prizes and their work was selected to go on to Lansing where top works from all over the state compete to be in the Governor's Show. And to our delight - but not surprise - two Emerson students had work selected for the Governor's Show.

We are so proud of all of our Emerson students and the art they create!
